RecycleIt places the health and safety of its employees, partners, and the public at the core of its operations. We are aware of the risks involved in waste handling and recycling, and we proactively implement preventive measures through this comprehensive Safety and Health Policy.
We conduct regular risk assessments across all workstations and activities. Each identified hazard is addressed with control measures and preventive strategies. These range from PPE requirements to equipment maintenance, site layout, and staff movement procedures.
All staff receive robust training on occupational safety, emergency response, and equipment use. Training is reinforced regularly, ensuring our team remains well-prepared and aligned with Kenya’s Occupational Safety and Health Act (2007).
We also have a detailed Emergency Response Plan in place to manage spills, accidents, or any unexpected incidents. This includes evacuation routes, communication protocols, and reporting structures to minimize harm and respond quickly.
